Well, if you don't know the story, long story short:

I bought some wheels from California and for one reason or another I had to sell them on before even fitting them.

I then bought some BBS CH 19s from Newcastle (a little closer to home), but had to return them as the damage on them was beyond repair.

Third time lucky! Those of you who follow rsmith's RR thread will already know I bought his beautiful CH's. These arrived yesterday and like a little schoolgirl I had to open one before going to bed :)

I am sick of having to apologise for the poor quality of my photos so tomorrow I'm going to buy a proper camera to do the beauts justice!

After I got back from Awesome today I unwrapped the rest of them. The state of these wheels is amazing, bar a couple of chips on the inside and one small one (guttingly) on the rim, these truly are perfect.

Here's some teasers :D Yes my car is filthy.

Thanks for all the replies dudes!!

Lodey I was fully set for buying some 18 fat fives till you told me I wasnt allowed 18s lol.

These are the same as the last 19x8.5 all round et30 225 on front and 235 on back.

ATM I'm thinking I might roll the front arches to get 235s on front as well and maybe space the rear out a little.

N1ff that chip was not on the rim leaving, put up a pic so i can see, also i never bother refurbing the inside of the wheel each time, well becuase no one ever sees it.

I had 235 on the front but got some rubbing, i will dig out some pictures so you can see how they look, in addition i spaced out the back 5mm to get the stance just right.

Also you wanted cleaning tips for these wheel, here are some i stuck by.

Never ever power wash them with high pressure hoses.
Never use cheap tar removers on them, get the quality stuff,(easy on paintwork) tardis works well, never let it dry in.
Clay the wheels in addition to the above step to get imperfections off the paint.
Never use wheel brushes on them, sponges only.
Use shampoo conditioners.
Use the 2 bucket method, hand wash only.
Always wax the paint with good quality wax/polish reguarly.
Alway seal the wheels, i use poorboys wheel sealant.
Try and use pads that don't cake them in crap.
Clean reguraly to stop build up of tar/brake dust.(i mean every other week)
When taking them on or off the car, it helps to wrap the lug wrench with tape to stop it fowling the wheel paint inside the bolt hole.
Always pop the BBS caps from the inside out, never be tempted to pry them out with a flat head(i've seen guys do it)
When you go for new tyres, repeatedly remind him not to damage the paint, even if this pisses him off, these guys don;t care, this is the same when you bring it in for alignment.

Just remember, threat the wheels as you would your car paint work.

Best of luck with them

and yes, i have OCD.

Awesome they do look sick. But fat fives on a Leon would have done also. I would have allowed them :) mate has them on a v5 golf and looks the tits. But has to be loooow to pull them off well. Hurry up and post some pics of the whole car :)

what size wheel do you think is best to run on every day 19"/18" my car is currently lowered 40mm
but would like to run lower.

Can you post a picture as I would like to get an idea of the stance thanks.

Ill get pics up tomorrow if all goes well!

Cheers rsmith Ill have a looksie for some good sealant. Defo wanna space the rear out 5mm!

Right, after a long morning of cleaning the car to try and make it match up the the wheels, I took it for a quick drive to try and find a nice spot for some piccies...the car was covered in dust

Anyway, here we go!

The slight chip at rsmith's request, It's taken at a bad angle but it basically goes through the powder coat :(
