Hi guys!

Im new too the seat forum as you can see :D

I will be taking delivery of my new seat leon super copa 170ps TDI on sep the 1st.

Ive been looking into tuning options and have narrowed it down too 2 options of either a remap or a tuning box.

Can you guys please tell me witch is best too go for?

Id rather go for a tuning box as i can just remove it if need be.

Also could you recomend a company i can use too carry out this work.

Thanks for reading

Hi guys!

Good choice ftw

I prefer a remap rather then a module...

Note that APR have as option to swithc from map to map using command like cruise control

Revo sell a box that allow you to switch from Revo maps from original

Other maps I don't know, other mates ca be more precise

Just a heads ups tuan21, I'v been looking at remaps too and got told from a good dealer all tunning boxes (revo, bluefin & *****) will not work on the new ECU(2012) because they have an encryption on them for these boxes and they haven't cracked it yet, the only way to remap is take out the ECU and remap. BTW I'm not sure about p-torque or APR but im from scotland and don't have those guys up here.

I have been looking at the tunning box but just not sure as it's mixed reviews

sorry buddy that was adreassed to ky-supercopa not you m8, my bad not having a digg :handbags:

Yes it's rather frustrating as I want my car remapped but for warranty reasons I'm not happy to have my ECU getting removed for a remap, I would be happy with the bluefin/revo box so I could put the map back for any garage work at seat.

As you said us TDI drivers will have to wait :( unless you go for the tuning box, have a search ky-supercopa as SCN member is using one

I believe around a month ago they are now able to remap through the port, so no need to remove the ECU. Could be wrong though.
