Glad to hear that you all had a great time at BH. With the car cleaned, I suppose you'd never know where it has just been, which is good to see. On to the next one then... :)

Your car went very well round brands ;) As for the RS4 I've no dout he could have made us both look very stupid but we both droped him as soon as the safty car went in.

I like the new stickers T0m, I think you should keep them. It's a weekend / track car after all. ;)

Cheers mate :) It was brilliant and I'll definitely be up for it again as the car did really well I thought.

I'll leave you two to touch each other ;)

In car news, I've decided to keep the car 100% now and finish it in the next few months..

Yeah good news you want to keep your car :) now for the bad news, you will never finish it :p
Is it me but do you think to yourself when you walk upto you car " i love the look of my car" if you get that feeling then you will never want to sell.
I was in a traffic jam the other day, slowly coming towards me was a ferrari, the guy stopped and just looked at my car and went into a day dream looking at the wheels lol. I thought to myself that guy shouldnt even give a second look at a 10 year old seat, just goes to show they still look dam good :)

Cheers Sam :) And yeah, I tell myself it will be finished but let's see in a few months ;) Lol.

I totally agree, my car gets plenty of looks today and from people in much more expensive and newer cars, really does make you grin when it happens. It's still a lovely shape the MK1 imo. It's been a great car to me and as it's only a weekend weapon I would rather keep it going now as I know it inside out and how it's looked after. I'm sure you feel exactly the same about yours!

Agree t0m drivin through my town when the car is clean I get loads of looks still, and it never gets boring. It's almost as if all the Golf, S3, BMW and AMG (yeh merc drivers) with their quick smile and subtle head nod applaud the fact u have a little rare secret pocket rocket that even now, 10 years on...not too many folks know much about. Except car people or petrol heads.

Did you see Ronin225 thread about the blyton park trackday at the end of September? Get your name down bud. As you said before these cars are very capable on track. Plus it will be a wicked laugh. :)

Yep these cars still get plenty of attention and go well too compared to what's out there now :)

Looks like a good day mate, but September is a busy month for me with a potential track day at Brands Hatch again, open pit lane this time. Also might be buying my new clutch, plus Players show is on too which I'm going to.

It's also quite a long way :( Next time mate.
