Wheel Spacers

Hi lads

I want to get some wheel spacers on as I can't lower the car yet because I drive on bad roads that are already scraping the LCR splitter.

But I do want to try to push out the wheels so they don't look so lost in the arches.


I was wondering what size would suit.

I have the 17" FR+ alloys on with an Offset of 7.5J wheels.


I was originally thinking 15mm but I think I could push 20mm because I won't be lowering it anytime soon.

What do ye think?

I'm on 20mm on my LC your wheels looked so "in" compared to mine (pics in my sig)

Tbh i can't see putting spacers on will make them look any less lost in ur arches imo

If the car were lowered ppl go up to 20mm rear 15mm front

Sorry to hi-jack, but with the spacers I'm assuming there's some benefit to the handling as your widening the track but is it noticeable as I'm not interested in these sort of mods for the looks

I have 15mm all round on my lowered FR.
As Lee says 20 mm will be fine, If I did it again I would go with 20mm.

Most 20mm bolt to the hub,15mm hubcentre spacers come with longer bolts

Wud luv to lower it but not feasible at the moment.


I can get h&r 20mm for 105 an axle or another make for 69, I think they are an engineering place that CNC them.

At least if I get them spaced out when I lower it it will help the finished look.

I'd go for the double bolt on type as you can still use the original locking nuts. Delta mics are a popular make and for 20mm double bolt on spacers it's £50 all in including delivery which is a great price.

I put 10mm spacers on back of mine ,bolts were too long so manage to smash abs sensors,so if you do go for extended bolt type make sure to measure bolts unlike me
