Today I have been searching the web for a trusty rusty diesel. And I cam across a 1.9 vw golf gt tdi 1998. that I will modify a little only because I have to haha.

Estimated around 295hp. Some have seen over 300hp and others just over 290 with stage 2 ( mk6 golf gti which has the same engine) , so in between somewhere
I will find out in 2 weeks though when I go to the RRStandard RS's have about 280hp and are heavier than my Leon

Got mine serviced at Volksmaster today.
All filters changed and new oil, car feels so much smoother it's unreal!
Mpg has taken a nice little jump too.

I noticed Greenlight insurance has the RS on their "exclusion list" because basically the drivers are c**ts and not worth the risk.

Had a cambelt and water pump change today . £250 for it to feel no diffrent than when i dropped it off haha . Piece of mind i suppose !!!

Been looking at some track alloys today and finally found what I have been looking for:

This is yesterdays update since tapatalk wouldn't let me upload photos yesterday
So i cleaned my car in and out, and then fitted the seat sport sill protectors i got from dave (clearence)
I also moved my remote for the subwoofer to a more convenient location, i'm really pleased with the whole thing!
I also decided i'd try some vinyl wrapping, not completely happy with it but equally i don't know if it looks right!

Are the badges wrapped or painted? they look really nice. Get some external door sills to match the internal ones and it will look great
