Braided hosing in engine bay

Looked at sizes and on the mk4 golf it is 8mm bore size so would assume that this will be the same. When i do mine i am not going to cover existing ones i will completely replace them. I am just trying to guage what i will need?

1. Female hose adaptors x 4 ?
2. Male adaptors x4?
3. About 1m of high pressure hose?
Found these and they look good can someone just clarify what i will need. cheers.

I was maybe thinking of something on these line then use it on my coolant aswell then you can cut it down to size aswell

I noticed the fuel pipe looks good but the finishing coupline u hve found won't fit if it's an 8mm internal pipe size What said just throught I'd say incase u orderd them lol
 
Sorry guys didn't realise there was that many posts about it.

Ok you need inside bore size of 8mm and they need to be high pressure hoses not low pressure ones as far as I know, the outside diameters are about 15mm so the hose finishers need to be big enough to fit them, the hose finishers are just really hose clips in fancy cases. You'll need about 2m of the hose. So An-6 hoses and finishers needed. The original fuel hoses just need the hose clips undoing and pulling off. You'll end up with 4 lengths of hose and 8 hose finishers.

Nice one for that are the set ups the same between the diesel and petrol engine sorry if it's a stupid question
 
Yeah cheers mate, I have bought those hose finishers now. Was up till 3am with baby so surfed the web and couldn't find any to go onto those hoses I bought. Should all be here tomo so will do it then. Think I must have been tired yesterday as trying to buy stuff for such a simple mod turned into a battle of epic proportions !!! :ban:

Ok well cheers for the info I'll get buying all that soon one thing I have got to say the hose finishers when looking at size it just seems to say bore size not external size so am guessing with the hose being 8mm bore and 15.5 external diameter the 8mm bore clips will still fit am I write???????
