I have tried searching, but all I get is threads on headlights.

In the ECU setting on the car is there a way to change the level in which the auto headlights come on, as at the moment they are coming on when it's far to light also when I go past tree shadows along the road in full daylight. And then people think I am flashing them.

Is there a setting in the VCDS to change this.

If you find out let me know because mine are the same. Also my auto wipers could do with being a little more sensative.

You don't have a none standard screen with a blue tint at the top covering the sensor do you?

why not just drive with them on all the time?
i do , the bulbs have a lifetime guarantee so no issues if they blow

I think the top tint screen is standard if you have the convenience pack with the auto lights and wipers as it hides the sensor at the top of the screen. Top tint screens weren't standard when I bought my car and it wasn't an option, so I assume they were only fitted as part of the convenience pack?

i didnt know this! so do you just take ur car to seat and tell them ones gone and they will replace it?

No im affraid not,Xenon bulbs are covered under the normal warranty,3 years 60k
Not for lifetime

Mine come on if I walk past the car, it's crazy, the missile took the car to work today and the drl's switched to xenon's by the time she had got off the drive!

Spoke to the dealer on Saturday morning and explained the situation.

They understood and have played around with the settings, and thankfully things seems to be better now.

Most certainly not coming on now untill it's a bit darker.
