I don't mind how much the gains are even if it is only 1 bhp xD
Just lacking a bit of induction noise haha.
Easy to fit? And where is the best place to buy? Awesome gti?

Thanks AndrewJB =]

Here is a dyno graph from todays RR day with Wales cupranet meet =D

Performance Mods
Remap by Eliteremaps (HQ in Leeds)
EGR Deleted
DPF Deleted
2.5" Custom Downpipe back exhaust system
Pipercross Panel Filter

Dyno Graph:
imagecqv.jpg

Got told by Craig@GotBoost that the map is running to much torque (335 lb/ft ) for the standard flywheel!
So either i get the mappers to lower it to 310lb or i upgrade the flywheel! =/

Guys talking BS to be honest as long as you drive it correctly it will be fine

Power output is a little low! Even my original wild map from JBS made 207

I'm sure few people on here run more torque maps without any problems with DMF is just up to driving style

TBH i did get sold on this advice.
He only mentioned it to me because there was a judder every now and then? He told me it was because of the flywheel slipping? And eventually if i dont lower the torque it could possibly lead to a short life flywheel.

Im guessing this is what was causing the judder rather than the EGR which i thought? Anyways i got full EGR hardware removal so it cant be EGR anymore. (Which is why the judder to be the flywheel slipping was also understandable)

What do you guys think?
Let me know
Thanks

Flywheel slipping ?? never heard about this before clutch yest but flywheel ??

Also judder is well known problem on mapped FRs and is not related to DMF or clutch

Yes i realise that judder is well know issue for PD170 and usually comes from the EGR.
But i have had this removed so it cant be the EGR anymore.
Therefore it "could" be the DMF Slipping.

Just wondering though would 335 ft/lb of torque cause the DMF to slip?
I mean Dave.C was at the RR day today and he managed to achieve something like 3xxbhp and 4xx ft/lb of torque! His is a petrol but still surely the DMF is the same?

Bit confused by what you mean here mate, DMF slipping!!?? Clutch can slip, not the flywheel......
Oh and Dave has a SMF in his 'ultimate sleeper car' too!;)

i will tell u again what the judder is

i can see from the dyno you are making max torq low down this means the turbo is spooling up very fast and slightly overboosting to the 27 psi limiter and then you judder

to remove this stuter they lower the max requested boost at the lower rpm this in turn will loose you some low end torq and will make the map more progressive rather than just coming in with a big thud of torq low down

you dont have to belive what im saying but you will just be wasting money on this engine if you start listening to most peoples advice on it

and so many tuners sh1t out of there mouth not there ass - FACT

your power is ok at 207 but some god tuners can get 215 smoke free and then to push past that stage you start to get smokey

220 is about the limit for the daily driver as anything past that gets a little silly with smoke

kilner once again thank you very much, and after showing me these pictures i do have confidence in believing you, its just the mappers i went with, said they cant modify the map. They can only give me a fuel economy map and tbh im not going to be happy with that considering its going to be 180bhp.

Plus they would charge me for it which i think is a little unfair, i mean i expect a map to be trouble free =/ Will have to speak to the mappers again and hope for the best. Hope you dont mind me using your images? They would be very useful.

a mapper who carnt modify a map is not a mapper he is just an ecu flasher 99% of the mappers in the uk just flash random bought files or they are just files from a database for your car

ther is very few mappers who can map the pd170 and most will say they can but it will just be an ecu file that they flash on not a map made for your car just generic shiz

as for the stuter i think im 100% confident in saying that wen the boost overshoots 27psi the car stuters and im also confident 100% of mappers dont no what causes the car to stuter at this point

ther is a couple of mappers who can make more boost from this engine but they hav to trick the ecu so it only thinks its making 26psi of boost wen in reality its making upto 37psi with a gtb2260

i may come across as an asshole and a retard at typing but im not  well mayb the typing part i am retarded at :)

Haha thanks for the info mate, You got some good knowledge there :p
Both you and AndrewJB are the ones to talk to when it comes to the PD170 =D

Maybe i should save up £800 and get s.hark map. Would the STS systems be any good as they are like 3 hours drive away =[
