Hi all,

I am wanting to buy something to apply tyre dressing on the cars.

Have seen some valeters using a simple roundish headed brush, but then when I started looking into this there are a few applicators, some being the shape of the tyre and all sorts!

Be good to know of any people have used and found to work well

Cheers in advance

Sainsbury's basic washing up sponges! 6 for 14p. Use it a couple of times then get rid. Perfect job ;)

I've bought and used several 'specialist' tyre dressing applicators, and they do not last long. Mine fell to bits after 2 applications.. A waste of £5

For a couple of quid its worth a go

I have also used the kitchen ones but found I got the stuff all on my hand, there are some with handles for tyres, or even some with handles for sinks so seems the way forward :D

Ive used a paint brush before which works well (depends what tyre dressing you use) it also makes you use a little too much. Other than that I just get a car sponge and cut it into small pieces

I use a detailing brush and megs endurance gel!
Awesome results!
