yes, do it the second you receive it! its great!

also, be careful not to drop anything in the turbo when the inlet is off. could also help if you take the car for a run before hand too, so it softens up the engine cover to remove, although abit of force gets it off anyway.

long nose pliers and ideally a flexi attachment for a sock piece.

dont spend ages trying to get the nuts out of the bottom of the heat shield like i did. just unscrew the engine cover mounts from the top. i think the nuts are welded in place.

i put the jubilee clip on the filter pipe first and tighten that one up.

line the filter up roughly. i then got 2 twists of the support screw on the right in place, then lined up the turbo bit. attach filter job done.

be careful not to drop **** in turbo

take for a drive. the first drive is mental.

Ive fitted mine and theres alot of movement in the pipe and were the main pipe goes in to reducer to turbo pipe it keeps slipping off. Ive tightened everything up fully but still does it?? Any ideas??

The jubliee clup goes on top of metal pupe and rubber reducer goes inside so when tighten it doesnt really tighten because if metal. I wuda thought rubber reducer went over top of pipe so can nip up tight.ive rang awsome gti and they said that its how it goes

Has the rubber adaptor piece from your original pipe stuck on the turbo inlet?
This would explain why you need to use the larger end if the pipe to fit the turbo.

I've ordered P-flow too from UK, I'm looking forward to mount it

My stage2 need it

I fitted my one on Thursday, definitely changed the engine note! Sounds like you have a little man with a turbo sucking in air in your glove box! Very satisfying feeling! One thing I noticed was installing the heat shield it was IMPOSSIBLE to reattach the nuts that go back on the bottom of the screws! Also due to the silly layout of the engine it made it a right arse ache to tighten the clips around the reducer!!

It does sound much better. I have got the original rubber i bet thats y i had to use the big end on turbo.with my heat shield i give up trying to take the other off. I just fixd it on top of the old one lol. All ive got to do now is get new engine cover...

I would be interested to know the difference! I notice there is more mid range power since I installed it, the car seems to pull more through the gears, and I'm not remapped.... Yet!

Gives a beautiful chattery sound as you release the throttle :)
