I have a pod on my Cupra but it covers the little triangle window and holds boost gauge. Not sure were it is from as was on car when got it. Will try and get pic tomorrow. It is possibly from Awesome as lot of the work was done there...

I have the same as Luke, from here

http://www.nomadracing.com/catalog/...d=493&osCsid=43485fc3b2375c8074dfa6c2f15912c2

along with this

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUTOGAUGE-52mm-SMOKED-FACE-TURBO-BOOST-GAUGE-PSI-/370722875636

matches the Cupra clocks well. However is hard to see in direct sunlight.

Fitted by Awesome but not sure how much as it was being done as part of the work I had done.

How do you find that approaching roundabouts and stuff with the already poor A pillar visibilty?

As I'm also looking for a mount just not sure where to put it. I like that gauge though, as you said, looks like it matches the clocks well

It honestly does not get in the way. It only covers the little triangle window and mine was tinted black anyway. That is one thing I've not thought about since it was fitted so mustn't be an issue :)

The only prob is direct sunlight. Not really a fault of the gauge as such as it illuminates as soon as the ignition is turned on. More the position of the sun through the glass. If you have lightly tinted front windows it may not be a problem. Looks good at night though.

I'll take one tomorrow. The car is tucked away and steering lock is on over the wheel.

I've got this setup waiting to be installed. It's quite a kit. The bezel for in the air vent is quite a piece.

Haven't gotten around to installing it...got cold. :)

where do you get this Vent pod from??? and also what else is needed to fit a boost gauge

Doesn't exist. The bezel has to be made. The rest is easy

- For petrol: a T-piece to tap into a boost line
- For diesel: a tap into the pipe that goes to the EGR

- a spare vent (SERE), not 100% necessary
- a gauge...duh. Mine's an omori stepper gauge with electronic sender.

Got my gear from CupraRob on here.

So shame to say I still haven't done it for my car and I still have the plates! :(

I tried about a year ago but I wasn't able to pry out the vent..

Get a cheap set of trim removal tools off eBay. Makes it all a lot easier. My vent popped out quite easy.
