No, they dont fit. You need the headlights from 2009-> Facelifted Leon/Altea.
The adpater cable from Kufatec is the right one.

Im also going to build OEM Bi-Xenons with AFS on my own. Not cheap and easy I tell you ;)

The kufatec website says the cable is only good for Leon models upto 2009.

The cable is correct, as noted above, however this is for the pre-facelift version so I'd contact the seller and ask if he has a facelift one or just search on eBay. Facelift is 2009 onwards.

We changed the headlights on a 2007 Altea FR from std. to 2010 BiXenon Facelifted. We used that adapter cable from kufatec, so it should fit yours too..

They seem very expensive! You're better off getting some bi-xenons made for you as they will be cheaper...not point paying for OEM ones (unless cheap) as you would also want the washer jets and the automatic levelling system (attached to the chassis from memory).

If you just want the bi-xenon look then make them or get them made for you.

That I don't know to be honest but I'm sure a google search will show something. There a numerous companies in the US that do them so I'm sure ther are ones over here too. Personally I'd make them myself (which I'm actually doing at the moment) as its not hard to do...just takes a bit of time and patience.

Make mine for me rob =]
Will pay well =D

That's for left-hand-drive cars and it is really expensive. 1000 Euros!!

@rob, I understand that retrofitting is much better than buying OEM head lights, at least money-wise, but at the same time they will need a lot of time, patience, and testing and I have none of those, lol. They're pretty hard to fit, if you think about it, especially if you're someone like me who is not used to working with tools or doing things like that. And unless you get a very good projector lens, you'll end up with a bad cut-off whether or not you fix the shield and re-align the head light units (trust me, I've suffered with that). When I bought the Dectane head light units, my mind was finally put at ease because the cut-off is great, of course besides the annoying kick-up on the right but I have come to swallow it and move on with my life.

I've also had much less problems, except last night when I had the car washed and the left head light actually had condensation inside, but turns out one of the covers on the back was basically open and therefore allowed a combination of air and water in. Hopefully when I go out today it'll be gone.

They will fit but are expensive for that price...nearly 900Euro for the pair! Also, you are looking at the European headlights which still has the wrong shutter cutoff angle (I.e. dazzle oncoming drivers) and fail the MOT.

I am not from the Uk, I am from a left hand drive market. These should be good for me right?

In that case they should be fine. I still think they are expensive and you could get them cheaper.

I have been searching the web for months and these seem to be the best I could find.
I would be pleased if you could direct me to cheaper source.

Also, as for ballasts and bulbs, where should I get them online?

I'm not sure of what options you e where you are located but I would always try a breakers yard. If a car was in a rear collision then the headlights would be complete with ballasts and bulbs.

I'm not 100% sure which bulbs fit in the OEM headlights (someone on here can tell you or a google search) but if they are D2S then you can get an aftermarket HID kit which is canbus friendly. Best to get the headlights first then worry about the bulbs/ballasts after!

Actually I think that's a decent price for OEM head lights. I've searched the internet quite a lot for them and whenever I found them they were either that price or more expensive, I've honestly never seen any cheaper ones.
