Clutch is stifer than OEM but not ttoo bad actually. Clutch bite feels a little lower too so I am adjusting to the biting point again but all in all it is much better.
Clutch kit £475.00 incl p&p
Release bearing £45.00 incl
DMF £270.00 incl
TOTAL £790.00
fitting = 1 bottle of whiskey
Took us 6 hours to fo the job ONLY because I had to wait an hour or the DMF to arrive but on the whole this cost me less than it would cost most as I got discount on all the parts. Joys of having accounts at trade prices through work

Prices work out for the clutch at:- what do you reckon jas?
- Sachs clutch kit: £530 including VAT
- New DMF: £475 including VAT
- New release bearing: £70 including VAT
- Free postage on the above.
- Fitting if required: £340 including VAT and this includes four wheel geometry afterwards.
That is a bit steep tbh mate. I did pay discounted rates and there are reasons for that.Lee M

What's the 4 wheel geometry for mate? Is it a sub frame off job?

No mate.
Subframe doesn't need touched, only left ballpoint requires disconnected and no other suspension parts.
I've done 5 now and never needed to touch the frame or do alignment.
As above no need to remove subframe, iff you want the job done very quick then do that but not necessary. When i did my lower mounts in the subframe I marked up alignment marks to get the subframe as close as possible when replacing it. Aterwards I did a geo check and strangely enough it was perfect, think I was very lucky with that one hehehehe

Well the Leon has now been sold so I am moving onto the next project. Something where I at least no longer have car payments but still within the VAG group at least. So picked up this little girl today:
She needs a little TLC and I will take my time doing what needs doing as finances permit. 2.0L 16v so not fast at all like the cupra but she is going to look amazing when I am done (hopefully lol). I will still be lurking round the forum so will keep in contact with you all.
