What did you and your MK2 do today?

Well, after spending the best part of 4 hours doing a complete clean yesterday, I did a bit of Carbon wrapping today, I did my chrome grill surround
This is my very 1st attempt at doing any carbon wrapping & i'm quite pleased with the result!
what do you think chaps?
No do I order some more vinyl and do my wing mirrors?

Tbh, from what I've heard the wing mirrors are a pain in the ass to do. Besides, I never really liked the look of them without the alloys matching (so black basically), my opinion though

I've had the carbon vinyl in my cupbord for 8 months......i may just leave it at that, don't want to over do it

One of the first things I did was change the chrome grill to the OE black version. If I'd of known about it, maybe I should of just wrapped it instead lol but here I am nearly 6yrs on.
Gave mine a bath too!
Washed, Tardis, ironX, Clayed, Washed, Dried, DA polished with menzera, Poorboys white diamond glaze, 2 layers of Zymol Glasur wax and finished off with 3 coats of Zaino Z8 with a Z6 wipedown inbetween the coats. The finish is amazing, much better than the pictures so, but so it should be after about 13 hours work between yesterday and this morning!

Had the car on the rollers! It produced 122.2bhp and 148lb/ft which I think is pretty good. I was advised that it should be higher when done with summer tires rather than winters, but I'm happy for now

Interior roof and glovebox are 501, then the boot is 42mm festoon I think. It's definitely festoon anyway.

Well I got the upgraded kit so I have 4 x 501 and 8 festoon. This is supposed to include boot, sidelights and reg plate. So how can't figure out where they're all meant to go :S know 501 are supposed to be sidelights but meh, I'm sure I'll figure it out as I go along.

Picked these up for fitting next week all being well.

I've been looking at scooby's too - always liked them!
