Plasti dip

Hey guys,

Anyone of you guys tried Plastidip on their cars?
I've been watching multiple videos online, and I'm currently considering plasti dipping my roof, my wheels and my windows.

It's easy to do, easy to remove and looks great.

Would love to hear your inputs on the subject, if anyone tried it pictures are more than welcome.

Well, i've done my wheels on the Abarth and the FR and both are great! When you give them 4-5 layers they will last for years. Have a lot of pictures but i'm not able to post them

I've done some bodywork as well. (I've made a how-to in the FAQ section)

I bought a can to try and it just sprays in big lumps and won't go smooth no matter how you spray it. I've read that the eu version of plasti dip is not as good as the American version. Rather annoying as I had many plans with plasti dip

i bought 2 cans of this in anthracite to do the wheels on my boc, will report back with pictures once i get home and get it done

The ready mixed stuff in the tins is good, the stuff you put in there gun is crap! Tried it.

i got some matt black from Plastidip.co.uk and had it on the front of my old jetta for about 8 months and never had a problem with it and it looks like it would last another 8 months at least and the finish is spot on even for a terrible painter like myself

Yup, the european (with greenish label) isn't that good ON YOUR WHEELS. Your really need the blue USA one'sfor those. The USA one's spray a lot better without drops.
