Are you planning on running them from your current stereo or from an external amp?

im running mine from the headunit only..no amps.

and me being lazy sometimes,i just hooked into the rear quater panel and picked up a feed off the other speakers..then ran it too the 6x9's.

not ideal but it works fine for what im after.

mine are also on a steath shelf.

then tap into the rear speakers in the quater panel and take the feed for the 6x9's from there..

other than that run speaker cable direct from the headunit to the 6x9's

now the cars back from paint shop ..got the last few pics taken.

weathers crap so no pics of the bonnet ive just had done...

black sunvisors fitted..so all matching now.

and new air intake sorted...i used an 80mm 45 degree elbow,and ramair filter.

then i used the old pastic intake pipe as a cold air feed..big difference in size..lol

deliveries today...nice big bag.

and some smaller ones.

plus a big box which contained..

then unwrapped my prezzie..

brand new cupra bumper..all grills and fogs..plus all fittings/screws/clips etc..

one happy bunny....but by christ the wallet to a big hit..

prey my facelift one sells now...lol

The black sunvisors and interior bits look good, I'd do it myself but I'm picky and would want a black headlining to match.

reason i never went for black headlining was it would be to dark in there..just wanted something to brighten it up

todays job ..making sure it all fits before its off to paint this week.

facelift one off ready to go..

and trial fit of the new cupra bumper...fits as snug as a bug..lol

well alittle more done today.

befor the bumper goes off to paint i wanted to fit a splitter.
but i didnt want to go the same old lcr one..its been done to death..

so i opted for an oldie,thats been done to death..lol...good ol' laguna splitter.

now it wouldnt just fit staraight on so it had to have the corner sections modified where the cupra bumper steps down.

heres the end results..

once the bumpers painted i can refit and heat it to tweak the step up bits into a better shape.

but i quiet like it..and not seen one done on a cupra bumper
