the standard tomtom suction thingy sticks perfectly happily to the headunit fascia.
Doesn't obstruct the screen but its easily in view.

I got mine from my local dealer but he gave me a £5 discount.

First of all you need to make sure you get the right adaptor for your particular TomTom. I have type 000051785A which fits my TomTom One IQ routes but I think there are others available.

No - if you don't have a TomTom find out which brackets are available and then choose your TomTom to suit. IIRC there is also one for Garmin so you might want to look into that too.
