small update..

bagged myself another set of seats today..got to get a courier sorted to collect from Birmingham and deliver to me in Essex..hopefully ill get them Monday

so if all ok my 08 sportrider seats will be up for sale soon.

Looking lush as always Si. One thing about the seats. Do they have the reclining handle on them for 3 doors? Just as mines a 5 door and not keen on the little handles.

Absolutely love the headlining, has me thinking of doing something similar

yeh mate..as they are 3 door they do have the tilt handles...but these can be removed,so they wont stick out

ive used 3 door seats when I had a bora...and I loved the ease of tilt for when cleaning the car out..and some extra room in the back seat..when needed..nudge nudge..wink wink..haha

my first cupra had the compartment but my latest cupra didnt really miss it having the little draw thing.

yes they were the dirty ones off ebay

and yeh..it came with the storage box under the seat already..
the seats I took out also have the storage box..proper handy...and if the cupra seats didn't have it I was gonna use the one from my old drivers seat.

hope they work ok...the tray holder has a scratch going through the number..but that's the best I can make out.

I don't use the centre vents much anyway so loosing one aint gonna hurt

so I mounted a boost guage in one..

rears are spaced out 15mm...front are standard.

update later too...new seat foam and cover for drivers seat picked up from tps....cost more than I paid for the whole trim..lol..

new b pillare covers picked up too...as when I fitted the opening quarter glass,the covers are different.

rightio...update time.

had a few very little fag burn marks on the driver side front seat..and the foam had gone alittle soft
so ordered all new from tps...which aint friggin cheap.

so I set about changing it all over this arvo.

first off..seat out




next up,strip the plastics around the base of the seat



one old seat base off



and some new bits..



add these together and refit..and voilaaaa..




pics of old cover that had a few cig burns in...very small..bit im a fussy git

don't look to bad when they where fitted..but hey ho.






so ill throw this on ebay later..might do someone a favour.

oh and I fitted my new b pillar cover trims...no pics but fit perfect compaired to old ones.

running out of stuff to do now
