I have a cobra resonated exhaust catback on my LCR mk1 and was just wondering if you could get a non resonated pipe that will fit straight on or is it the case of cutting the box out and rewelding a new pipe in?

Also ive got an issue with my passenger door lock. Most of the time it will lock but if the door gets used by my wife, when i come to lock the car the door wont lock? Just opens from the outside and all the alarm starts going off. Starting to drive me mad. All other doors are fine. I can sometimes here the door struggling to lock or not hear it at all? Is this a faulty door lock actuator? If so is it an expensive fix?

You can order a non res centre pipe from cobra or as you said cut and weld. Or if your after a little more noise why not change the downpipe and cat or decat it that way it will cost you a bit more than a new centre section but add more performance.

Sounds like door mech is playing up
 
How much do you think the pipe would cost from cobra? I would rather do that than cut it out tbh. Is the door lock mechanism also known as the door lock actuator? Only ask this because a brand new door lock actuator on ebay are £30.
I am planning on going down a downpipe and sportscat route eventually but not just yet as i spent alot of money on my focus st225 and then sold it. The wife wasnt happy lol. Just want abit more noise from the exhaust at the moment as its not loud enough haha. Its running a revo stage 1 remap and a few extra bits so more than happy enough with the performance for now as its running 265bhp and 287ftlb torque. Would like abit more torque but wondering if revo could just tweek the map??

It doesn't list it on there site so you would have to ring them. Alternatively buy a cat back non res and then sell a cat back res that's nearly new (backbox will be)

Sounds like the same thing with the lock and you won't need the map tweaked until you add a fmic and decat but I'm running full stage 2 mods on OE MAP atm
 
Nice one cheers mate. I may take it to my custom exhaust shop in worcester who do all there own custom pipework and see what they could do for me. May be able to make me one without having to cut it out.
 
How much is it to uprade to a stage 2 remap by the way and wheres the best place who does revo maps close to worcester? Is there much difference in the 2 stages?

Revo Technik remap carried out by VAGTECH. This results in 265bhp and 287ftlb
SFS 80mm Turbo Inlet Pipe
Forge 007P Diverter Valve
Cobra stainless steel exhaust system
Cross drilled front & rear brake discs
H&R 20mm lowering springs
Powerflex dog-bone engine mount bush
Powerflex front wishbone bushes

All you need now is a fmic and a 3" downpipe with sports or decat.

If you have had it done by them usually they will upgrade for free or a small fee. I'm in redditch and I'm going badger 5 in glos
 
Around rainbow hill way mate. Where about in worcester are you? Didnt realise there was many in worcester. Only seen one silver one around and thought they were quite rare in worcester. Mistaken lol.

Definitely mistaken there however we don't tend to go to Worcester much we hide in the outskirts lol
I'm in warndon villages by the barn owl, Ronin225 is in Leigh Sinton, Seal is in Redditch, 4 in the area have sold up recently, Sam has a platinum one and Lee has a silver one. Dot think Sam and Lee are on here. :)
 
Haha best way mate, ill keep an eye out for you. Dont get to drive it much as i only really use it to drive to work and back which is like a 5min drive. I like to admire it on my drive lol.
