Thanks guys, bought some front end parts tonight, just need wings now. :D .....and watermeth....and a wot box.....and wavetrac...and cams

Yes I sure am, text me Andrew. :)

Alright guys some updates, took me a few days longer than planned(weather and work) but I'm glad I've done it all myself. :)

So here's my solution for the melted fusebox(Not the bonnyiest...but if it works)...however it hasn't fixed my fans not coming on? Any ideas? Fan control unit?

When you did the 'mod' on the fuse box which wire did you cut/splice into to do this? Did you ever get the fans sorted? Cheers

Loving the car bud, not so good about the damage. When you hopimg to get her back on the road? Im pretty sure i seen you about a few times last year, i used to stay out new deer way, aberdeen now though

Looking from the front it's the wire closest to the passenger wing.

Hoping to get it back on the road 2 days ago haha. I was hoping to do a lot more work before putting her back out but I've gotten rid of the Golf so back on the road this week, then once my new wings arrive, off the road for a couple of days again to sort that and possibly a new bumper. :)

Here's where I'm at just now, will get more detailed pics later but I'm doing the brakes, undersealing, cleaning up a couple of crusty bits and various little jobs.

Looks like its on the mend, seen this at Inverurie halfords last year I think? Need to get photos when yours is bank on the road and mines on the road

Haha we all say that, i wanted mine back on the road 2 months ago and im now at the point of pulling the engine and need a spare head for the making of my new manifold
In a way its good that you now have the time to get all the maintenance out the way
Hope to see it back out to play soon now that the weather is getting better!

Thanks guys, It's usually parked at Halfords. Definitely get some photos, there's quite a few in Aberdeen now.

I'm lucky, it's just been built so I can use it for a couple of weeks. Usually I'm out in the driveway working away haha.

Been an expensive couple of months so sorry for no exciting updates. Hopefully get some goodies fitted over the summer.
