Nope, but there is a drain tap on the bottom outlet on the radiator :)

Ah yeah I used that to drain the system. I guess that would help the air through. Why didn't that click!!! thanks for waking my brain lol :)

Self bleeding system

Leave coolant res cap off and turn heating to full hot then let it bleed itself

I did try that but the rad hoses didn't get warm. Everything else did though.

One of the rad hoses wont get warm unless the engine is upto temp and the thermostat is open! If not the coolant isnt circulating the rad as thermostat is closed

Yeah true. I even drive it up a little hill nxt to my house then back and the hose still wasn't warm. I'll leave it running for longer nxt time I start it.

Ive read there is a bleed hole in one of the matrix pipes just as it goes through the bulk head,
apparently the procedure is to slip the pipe off slightly to expose the hole in the metal pipe,
Once coolant is seen to come out the hole the pipe should be pushed back on firmly.

There is a thread that has pictures somewhere

Oh right. I don't think there is air in those pipes though as there is hot air coming through and both the matrix pipes are hot?
