How to change colour of backlights on switches

Hey All, Just wondering if anyone can help me, Im looking at changing all my backlit switches from red to white, i have seen it done on the climate control unit but don't know how it was done, Was wondering if anyone knew?

I think it involved removing the unit ans soldering in some different LEDs

If I can get hold of some switches or something that are spare I can look into changing these.
Cant see it been much of a problem.

Im pretty sure a couple of people have done it on here but yes it requires you getting some smd leds and un-soldering old and swap for new. So I would say you need to be fairly confident with soldering so not to f*** things up

Like this?!!? Just need to resolder the LEDs...fairly easy to be honest, hardest part is pulling the dash to bits!

Indeed they do change colour when you turn them on!

Not really to be honest, you just need some SMDs and a fine tip soldering iron. I recall they are 3528 size which I used.
