My 13 plate ibiza cupra has used 12 litres of oil in 9600 miles that 1l to 800 miles

The crap thing is that VW say your oil use is within acceptable limits.

1lt per 600 miles is the point where they will admit high oil use !!!!!

Glad I went for the 2.0TDI - Only 0.5lt oil use over 34,000 miles ( yes it was changed every 10,000 )

Been down the steelers an they want £54 x2 to do this oil test where they weigh the oil but im in for a service soon so will get it done then and only have to pay £54 once

Think the limit in the manual is 0.5l per 1000km, around 620 miles. Do they really not admit to an issue until 1lt in 600 miles?

Yea thats what the manual says and there still saying its ok. We will soon see they topped my oil up and ive got exactly 1000km untill my 10000 mile service so i will check it again then and if i have to put more than 0.5l in i will defo go for the test

They should let you off with the service charge for the oil change, you have already changed your oil three times in the last year!
