Just phoned my insurers to get a better price on my policy... they knocked it down from a £950 renewal to £650. Why don't they just give you the best price in the first place!

When the warranty runs out I may drop it on coilovers slightly, but a remap is first. Don't want to go overboard.. did that to my mk4 Golf and although it was a nice car, it needed TLC every month to stop it from rattling apart on the coilovers. lol

I had white wheels on my Ibiza and I coated then with about 5 coats of wax before put them on inside and out as had white all way through and then just rinsed them off every week with hose and were fine would have them again been debating to do my wheels off Leon white as still got loads of paint left over from Ibiza lol but maybe after winter lol

Cupra remap - amd essex btcc tuning

Decided to give the Cupra a remap at AMD Essex yesterday, with amazing results.

These are the figures:






313BHP - all standard parts.

Love it! So much more turbo whistle and pull!

Happen to see their AMD BTCC car in the worksop whilst they were working on mine, pic below.

Update

Haven't been on here for a while but i have recently had the following done:

EBC Discs and Red Stuff pads fitted ( pic below ). Both ordered from Eurocarparts, came the next day. Great service.

I was going to opt for the Triple R diffuser but decided i've waited too long and thought everyone will be going down that route, therefore i had the rear sprayed gloss black, which IMO, looks good. Nice and fresh anyway!
