You could get a K1 in any available 'Cupra' colour as far as I was aware.

The K1 was a SEAT UK invention, every car arrived in the UK looking no different than the Cupra it was based upon.

Then all the K1 parts (aerokit) were put on here.

There were a lot of white ones though as demo's, dealer cars, press cars etc, hence why they tends to be more of them about.

One thing I do agree with about that article is where is the cupra model they have even removed the Ibiza cupra of market at the mo so no hot hatch on the market :( come on seat get in gear

Leon is coming in the spring, but they haven't half taken their time over it. So much so for the first time in over a decade I've ordered a SEAT that isn't a Cupra.

From all reports though, it won't be exceptionally exciting, but we'll have to wait and see. No doubt it'll still be quick with a detuned S3 lump. But I'm more intrigued by the news of a Cupra R which is expected to follow at the products mid-life point 2016/17.

Interesting, I didn't realise it had come off sale already. Guess must be because the Twincharger engine is been scrapped? Read somewhere else the new Polo GTI will switch over to the 1.8 TSI engine so guess it will make its way over to the Ibiza Cupra eventually

The scirroco R has also been removed from the VW website and there are only rumours about the replacement scirocco , it must be a VW trait.

Never seen a black one on the road hence my query , I knew about the uk added parts to make it a K1 , but I have seen most colours but never a black one.
