Hello!
First of all, this is a great forum for Seat owners..
Now, my big problem is the haldex is not functional, I only spin with my front wheels, and it's pretty frustrating.. I ordered a new prepump(haldexpump?) wich is on it's way. I read on another forum that it was most likely the pump.. Any other suggestions of what it could be? I have a late 2000 (2001) registered Seat Leon 1.8 20VT 4 - 6-speed manual gearbox..

Is there any DIY on how to change te pump? I don't have any VAGCOM gear and haven't got any codes yet..

No weird sounds or anything, the rear just wont pull..

PLEASE HELP!! :wtf:

Have you tried to ask on Audi Forums at all bud?

Thanks for the replies my fellow Seat brothers! No, but i have searched for hours on audi/vw forums. I know it is similar to tt/s3/r32, their built on the same platform, but i havent found anything useful but to check wires and clutch/brakes switches beneath the pedals.. i ran an OBD2 scan with the android app "torque" and it did not come up with any fault codes.. The winter is coming fast and i am in haz need of the 4x4 to be working properly..

the A3 Quattro with the 180 1.8 T has the identical system as well, I came close to buying one before I bought the Leon, but got cold feet lest the Haldex system should go wrong

you'll need a proper VAGCOM to communicate with the Haldex system, the Torque app only speaks to the engine ECU for OBDII codes.

Best option is to get a proper diagnostic computer on it to see what fault is there.

Hey again guys! I visited my brother who's a mecanic on a hobby basis, we took off the old pump and measured the ohm on it, zero signal and most likely faulty pump/electronics.. Well, enough of that. The problem was solved in less than an hour. We changed the pump with the new one i ordered and went to my local VAG dealership and got new oil and filter. It was quite easy to change, so if anyone needs help, just pm me and i will write up a "how to/what to do" for you. After the oil/filter/pump change my Leon spun like crazy on all 4 :D anyways, thanks for the advises!! :-D
