hi everyone,

new to the forum!

I know Shark Performance and Darkside Developments are good, but they are a bit of a mooch away from me so i was wondering if anyone has heard of the following and had any work done by them:

Smart Remaps - M4 4JQ
ECUFLASH – DN5 7LA

thanks :)

No and No lol

Me and Kinnerton recently disected a DPF delete remap done by a company and it was very poorly written which just proves our point buy cheap buy twice.

thought that would be the case!

well Shark Performance are doing it for £549 - stage 1 remap and DPF removal so i might have to mooch up there

i take it someone has dissected a Shark Performance map because its highly recommended?

cheers for that mate, iv just messaged them to see how much they charge for DPF delete and stage one :)

I know statllers come highly recommended on MK5 golf forum but thats because they tune 2.0TFSI using REVO and GIAC

i don't know anything about there Siemens PPD DPF delete software im afraid.

JBS DPF delete works well but is underpowered

I would go with Darkside or Shark or Jamie Kilner

I had a DPF delete on my Vrs octavia at shark and it was a torque monster, fuel economy was awesome too. I've just had my cr remapped by them and it's very nice map. I'm buying a Leon Cupra this week and that will be getting shark treatment too. The guys come highly recommend from me that's for sure. I've had superchips, p-torque and rapid remap software in the past so I've had experience to call on.

Hi, hope you are well.

I recogonize the username...Which model did we do a DPF delete on for you?

I got my car DPF deleted by company mentioned in this post and car developed well known "stuttering" and tuner was unable to fix it obviously trying to explain me is not a map fault.

And ther figures are rather optymistic after asking ages for dyno print i received paint like graph with 222bhp and 477nm real figures are 205bhp and 443nm.

I would seriously consider Kilner as my next tuner he may have no access to dyno but you can always test car on the road...

Alzak the stutter is also on the OEM Mapping i think its to do with boost cutting back ,just that it hardly does it with the OEM map due to it not making as much boost.

There is a fix for it i had the issue on my PD170 with the original JBS map, they then issued an update which solved it, Shark Performance also solved it on their maps.

Jamie Kilner solved it on his own map aswell

I spoke with Kilner about his ability to fix my issue but I'm still about to see him ...

Regarding my "tuner" after paying £600+ for DPF removal service with performance map I would expect them to fix this issue but as I experienced this is not that easy to get it fixed, my car was back in once without any luck and then I tried to book my car in few times unfortunately without any luck, after this experience this company will not get my or any of my friends custom.
