It's unfair to compare natural vs. artificial light shots.
I am a detailing nerd but in all honesty it's about 75% effort, 25% product. So if you like a detailed car it comes down to motivation & time vs. cash to spend. You can get a pro look yourself for years for about £60 - you just need some sealant to protect your paint (under £20), some polish (£7 auto glym is fine), a half decent wax for 30 odd quid and a few pads and microfibre cloths.
The only thing I would visit a detailer for would be to get a machine polisher on it to sort the orange peel (which is quite bad on SEATs so mine is having it done before xmas):
