Snapped Coil spring...Upgrade time??

Managed to get a set for £90 delivered mate...got them off eBay but this is the store

The drop they state is 35mm, but since I'm going to be running standard shocks and the cupra is already slightly lowered as standard it won't be anywhere near that.

I'm running koni sport springs on my leon fr 20vt there not a bad ride they state 35mm lowering but I only saw about 25mm the rear end sits nice but I renewed my worn top mounts when I fitted springs so the front took a while to settle but looks ok now nice level drop my old top mounts were half the size of my new ones so they lowered the front before springs were fitted lol

This is my stance with Koni Sport shocks + H&R springs front and standard shocks + H&R springs in the back (18" wheels for comparison). No subwoofer or spare tire in the back

Did you upgrade the top mounts to polys? Or stick with the OEM?

Mine seem to be in surprisingly good condition at the moment so not replacing them but will be when I can afford some adjustable shocks

Have tried the Powerflex ones, but best to stay oem (more comfort). Powerflex are sturdy, but can make for a harsh ride.

Dogbone mount is well worth the money (have powerflexed it). Heaps difference over stock, for very little money

If you do the dog bone mount buy the red diesel one it's less harsh I fitted poly top mounts as well and took them off abit to hard IMO

Wheels look good m8 fill the arches better makes it look lower

Those are damn cheap bro...i don't know about cheap springs to be honest, but the saying goes 'you get what you pay for'

And/or: buy cheap, buy twice

You can buy those cheappie ones, but I would opt for Eibach. If its temporary, maybe cheap is the way to go for now...
