Supprised you're not waiting for Bill's intake mate, especially after the sucess of his 3" T.I.P on the mk 1. I find the mk2 cupras look soooo boring in standard guise so im looking forward to what you do with yours.

I went for the evoms as its a good rated kit and includes 2 heat shields. Also I got it a a good price ;) if bills turns out to be awesome and worth the upgrade from evoms then I wills sell up.
Sleek is the look I'm after :)

Good choice with the intake. I've noticed the exhaust narrows down right in the middle, any reason for this??? Also his much was the 3" dp??? I have the 100cell miltek but its gubbed so a bit pointless having it fitted.

Thanks dude, both systems are 3" and taper down to suit oem, so I will get a 3"-3" joiner made up.
The downpipe and decats are £245 delivered, vbands and 02 sensor spacers included.

So as these are spanking i thought i would get some wheel protection, even though i had poorboys wheel sealent. So i ended up buying some Gtechniq wheel armour

Very easy and quick to use so hopefully it will do its job. £25 for 25ml so its not cheap.
This was recommended by top guys in the detailing world.

Anyway heres a couple of snaps with the wheels fitted

I think they look great, oem+ :) need more lows however but one thing at a time i guess.

I have bought some nice black braided hose and finishers for my catch can setup, not fitted yet but a sneeky pic

Finally my evoms induction kit has arrived, i also bought a spare filter (blox)
And its massive

Both have 6" inlet with velocity stacks. I plan on doing logs to see what performs best.

Hopefully i can get some of these new parts fitted soon, driving me crazy not having the time to fit them.
Thats all for now

Hey hey,
Last weekend I actually had time to make up a boost gauge pod.
I bought 52mm vent pod from eBay, but modified it to suit my 60mm defi gauge. Firstly I had to bore it out to 60mm.
This allowed me to fit the gauge however the face of the gauge was 10mm proud of the pod. This is due to the to the bigger outside edge of the gauge.
So back to the drawing board.
I then thought, I can use the defi bezel to sort this issue out, so I bonded the bezel to the inside of the pod, the result is perfect. Nice flush finish.

In this photo you can see I have bonded in the bezel to the back of the pod. I used some special epoxy resin that sets in 1 minute and its super strong.

Please not the gauge is not plumbed in or connected electronically, dry fitted for photos.

I have also just purchased the cupra r diffuser, not oem but upon research it should be as good :)
It' looks identical to oem but comes in £55 cheaper

This is German made, made from PU plastic and comes with all fittings.

I also bought a forge supersize dump valve to experiment with ;)

Wish I had as much disposable as you mate ;)

Progress is coming along very swiftly, will be interested to see how the rear diffuser looks.

I keep getting asked what I want for Christmas because apparently "I'm really hard to buy for" which in reality is not true but I just can't expect someone to fork out £400 for a Revo intake, or £600 for a stage one remap lol

Yeah that would be pushing it but worth a try ;)

I finally got a chance to fit my evolution motorsports induction kit over the weekend.
Getting the engine cover off was a pita, and I broke it trying to pull it off :( good job I no longer need it.

Apart from that, fitting the induction was very easy.
I also fitted the larger blox air filter because bigger is better

My first impressions with the induction are, it's loud. I thought my induction on the mk1 was suckie suckie but this is another level.
Performance wise I have not given it the beans so can't really comment.

I know my engine bay is dirty, this is the first time I have removed the engine cover so let me off. Need some good weather so I can give it a good detail.
Also this turned up

Looks good man, are you not going to replace the engine cover? I think it looks a bit bare without one.

Fair one, I quite like my engine cover so if I do eventually end up getting the Revo intake I want I think I will be cutting the cover to fit back on, but if you're getting some bling then I guess you will want it on show.

Pretty happy tonight, at half past 7 the door bell rings and guess what its parcel force.
I was suprised to see them at that time.

Any way my rdx (lcr) diffuser has turned up from germany. Very quick service and they even supply a free tube of a tube of body bonding stuff :)

Looks very oem, cant wait to get it fitted along with the milltek catback.

I have also been looking at new head units, well oem ones like the RNS500 but dont really tick the boxes for me as some features are limited. My friend has had issues with his.

So i have just ordered a WITSON W2-C004
Looks just like the RNS500 but has so many more features.
I am buying the latest model with A8 chip and the extra ram.

I was a little worried at first by this head unit but after researching all week these head units are fantastic.

Full spec can be found here
http://www.witson.com/en/displayproduct.html?proID=101908516

This head unit will also support Tomtom maps.
I added the wifi adaptor so i can connect to the internet via hotspot on my phone.

Cant wait to jazz up the dash, will spray the plastics glossy black too :)

Hopefully over christmas i can get some of my parts fitted.

Different from the genuine part then, the genuine part has a piece that gets riveted to the valance then the diffuser is bonded on to that.

You painting before it goes on?

Yeah i did see that when looking at the oem. I will paint once fitted as i will have the valance painted to.
I could do with a valance fitting guild to be honest, not sure if there are any.
