Cracking work on that diffuser Sam, will look great when it's finished off.

Looking really good Sam. Glad to hear that you're enjoying the Mk 2. On the lacquer front, I use U-Pol 2K products. Couldn't recommend them enough, although they're a bit pricey I guess. Easy to use, cover well and respond well to final wet sands and polishes. I've found that sticking with what you know helps so it might be worth the wait until 6th Jan. :)

Really love this time off ATM :)

Last night I managed to finish off the RDX diffuser. Photo and lighting doesn't really do it justice but the finish is way better than I thought I would come out. I did spend a lot of time cutting it back between coats and it's really paid off. Just leaving it a few days to cure before fitting, will cut it back and polish in 2 weeks.

I also sprayed a spare part of the dash that I had, I will do the rest soon.
I went through the same process as the diffuser to get the best finish possible

This morning i fitted my lcr milltek catback, I was going to do it in the rain and on stands, however my mate hooked me up with some proper ramps. 1 hour later the milltek was on and I was bone dry result :)

Really pleased with this system, sounds amazing and very easy to fit. Can't wait to get a video up and get the diffuser on.

Downpipe to fit next, would have done it today if I had a 3" to 3" joiner.

Still have to fit my catch can, stereo and boost gauge. Not sure I will get time before I go back to work.

Thanks James, I got itchy feet and bought some halfords lacquer. I did warm the can up (in the oven ) and did a test with it, it did come out well. I was happy to use it. The nozzle isn't great but workable. The martins paint come with a wide spray nozzle that's very easy to get a good finish.

Thanks mate

Looks awesome Sam. Those tips look very meaty and will marry to the diffuser really well. Look forward to the vids :)

Thanks matey, they are pretty meaty but look smaller in the pic than they do in real life.
