Good work Scott. Looks nice and tidy. Could I trouble you for a picture from behind it? I started taking mine apart today and just wondering how much to cut off the back. The carpark is quite away from my workshop so offering up every little cut isn't really and option haha

Nice work there Scott. Is that the Golf battery cover? Looks great color coded.

I like the colour coded engine covers, I bought a spare cover to cut up and fit over my induction kit but I never painted it, Just swapped the badges over.

Would this cover fit a fr tdi with a bit of modifying? I much prefer the look of that than the one which I have fitted. Here's mine at the moment

I honestly couldn't tell you I'm afraid. Never even thought about it until I saw these covers and thought they looked great.

I think the best way is to take your cover off and compare it with the photos on Kevs readers ride to see how they look. I can take some measurements if you like as I've got a s3 comer in the garage I'm about to modify. Seeing as you've replaced the front of your car today I'm sure a simple removal of the cover will take you a couple of mins!

Ye ill whip it off tomorrow and have a quick look and compare them. Thanks chap

Best one IMO so far

Looks mint

Cheers, it's just the tfsi sport cover cut to fit with the badge of the Cupra R cover.

Like Rob said about the mounting not being the same. I was thinking you could take the top half of a tfsi/cupra engine cover and mount it on your tdi cover. The tfsi/cupra air box is inside the cover and you unscrew the bottom from the top. The top part of the cover isn't that thick so you could maybe mount it to your tdi cover with a bit of modification.
Just an idea if the mounting aren't right.

First draft of the middle section of the cover which was a S3 cover. Had to remove the S3 and Audi logo and then filled in the gap with ABS plastic and a subtle trial K1 logo..any thoughts?
