Engine cover

Here's a photo of the engine cover in my 4.5 Leon - dull and boring isn't it? Other 4.5 owners will be familiar with this as well.

From a bit or research I know that earlier Leon covers were badged in some way, either with the CUPRA font and chequered flag motif, or even just the CUPRA badge. Does anyone know if one of the earlier covers will fit the 4.5?

There are numerous types of CUPRA badges available online which will fit onto the 4.5 cover, but seeing as they're attached by a 3M backing, and what with the heat of the cover itself with the engine running, the last thing you need is the badge detaching and falling into the fan belt area.

Otherwise, has anyone jazzed up in some way the cover in their 4.5? I'd be interested to see a photo if you have.

This is the same boring cover that I eventually got (had to wait a year as OE had to be removed) on my 2022 Leon. All my old SEAT Cupras had red writing etc on, had thought of making up a template and using heat proof caliper paint to put a CUPRA logo on but never got round to it.
