For what its worth i have the 2 side mounts and have next to no engine movement now - i was advised that the pendulum mount was overkill for road cars.

On reflection id have to agree as i have the pendulum mount fitted although mine is solid metal and carnt comment on one with a bush in of some type and mine is deffo overkill.

So basically Mr invisible do the 2 side mounts wether that be VF,BSH or VWRacing take your pick.

Is that the deffinative answer you was looking for.

i think the density mount wont be as bad as it is rubber un like the vwr ones. i am planning alot of 1/4miles this year aswell as plenty of knockhill

VWRacing do a fast road mount but i went for the solid one . Its probably mint for 1/4miles though as i get zero wheel hop and when the windows are down i can hear the tyres murdering the road.

Its an hours labour, im going to see if vwr will just swap it for a fast road one as you carnt exactly damage or wear down a solid steel mount. Just need to save for clutch and possibly a diff but thats not a deffinate yet.

BSH Mounts Fitted

Yes there are 3 of them as you said. I replaced mine with the uprated from BSH. You surely feel more connected to the car and the engine feels bolted on the chassis which gives better acceleration and launch but you get quite a bit of vibration in the cabin. I also fitted the Whiteline anti-lift kit to complement the "package" which overall minimizes wheel hopping. Before the engine mounts you could feel the engine running ahead of the car and then rest of the car followed - now its a blast. All in all the only negative of engine mounts is the noticeable vibration in the cabin but is getting smoother as you add miles to them. For better handling I would also suggest the ARBs - they are must have.

Just fitted some BSH mounts, Gearbox, Lower mount plus Engine Mount.
Vibrates like crazy. will it go away ? I am thinking on changing the Engine mount back to the stock mount and keep the gearbox and torque mounts BSH, what do you guys think ?

It's the rear engine (pendulum) Mount that's causing it, get rid and see if it helps.

ok, so your refering to the lower torque mount ?

That was the first one I had installed about 2 and a half months ago.
Its also BSH, but there was no vibrations what so every, it felt like i didnt do anything at all.
after fitting the engine mount how ever and the Gearbox mount, the vibrations are crazy.
I am thinking its the Engine mount, im deciding weather I should change that one back to a new OEM mount and leave the lower torque mount and the Gearbox mount.

I am even hearing sounds from the clutch when the car is in neutral. But when i press the clutch in, the knocking sound goes away.
Im thinking its the slave master cylinder, or maybe i need to change my timing belt kit which i have not yet, and the car has just reached about 100.000 km
