Ok so I went to a company that shouldn't be named and shamed (as much as I want to).
Was great for about a week then I was getting a horrible shrieking noise on boost. I went back to this company and told them the problem. Even took the guy out in the car for him to listen. He played around with something on his laptop for about half an hour and the problem was still there. He then said that it was my turbo that was causing the problem and nothing to do with the map itself. hmmm..
So I had the turbo taken off and rebuilt, new bearings etc etc and when I got the car back 2 weeks later and several hundred pounds lighter the noise was exactly the same.
Long story short I moaned about it on here for a few weeks and then decided to take Bill's advice (who had said all along that it was a problem with the map and it was compressor surge)
So I went to Bill on Friday 28th Feb and he remapped it properly and now I have no compressor surge, no horrible shrieking and no spikey boost map.
I have attached the print out of the before and after dyno. Note that mine was hitting just over 300lb ft on spike on standard rods on Bill's dyno!!! aghhh!!!
Can't thank him enough and wished I had just gone there in the first place as it would have saved me alot of hassle and money. If you are in any doubt to try and do it slightly cheaper, dont waste your time and just go to Bill.
