There are 2 white gear wheels that adjust via a 6mm (i think) allen key on each headlight ... See pic

There are 2 per headlight, one for height and one for left/right 'kick' position adjustment. Both are required to be set at specific positions for MOT and impossible to get right without a headlight aligner. A garage should be able to set them bang on without any hassle

Not sure that there is a colour code for it. It is more of a coating than a paint. When i got mine it had kinda gone sticky/peely in places where someones finger must have kept touching the same bit over and over. I wrapped mine in brushed aluminium wrap... Looks quite good i think

Nice one mate, any piccys, I was thinking of gun metal grey carbon wrap :) anyone had the same issues with the mpg?

Mine is LC9Z which is VW black magic. It is not a perfect black, it is metallic and looks off black in bright sun light.

Cheers about the car, it is not great and I have had my fair few problems with it.
Doors leaking
Skuttle panel leaking into the car
Cambelt failed
Airbag sensor under the seat got wet and then blew up the airbag control module
passenger door lock failed
discs and pads all round
turbocharger vanes got clogged which puts the engine into limp mode until restart (mr muscle fix)
Thermostat failed twice
AC pump failed

Luckily most of it is sorted now and the car is alright (touch wood).

I have done a bit to the car now though.

Remap (best thing I have done)
Wheels
EGR delete
Intake manifold upgrade from standard 110 to the 150 for improved airflow
Replaced the vacuum lines
Full brake bleed (still not right though)
Rear wiper replaced with a fabia wiper
6K HIDs with a relay wiring loom (stops the flickering)

Time to leave it alone now though. Too much money gone into the car.

Hiya bud! i have the same engine as yourself but in a toledo...how much of a difference did a remap make to the performance of your diesel

Supersticky I'm not sure of the colour, maybe try going into Halford and matching it by eye. Champagne / silver comes to mind.

Tolodan - it has made a big difference. It is nice and progressive but it was easily noticeable when I remapped it.
Still puts a smile on my face now. One of my friends has an audi a3 2.0tdi 140 with a dsg gearbox and he thinks my car is faster.

Mine is a blacksmoke remap which is supposedly 137hp.
I cannot fault it but many people out there don't like the company.

Hey aymen, cheers for the info, may wrap it in carbon grey instead of searching the bleeding colour now :) I would love a remap but I'm only getting 28 mpg atm with it being standard!! Any clues on that peeps?? Three posts up :):)

That's doesn't sound right.
First things to check are usually the maf (in the pipe coming out of the airbox), any error codes.
If you can clear codes them try unplugging the maf to see if anything changes, if the car is slower then it needs replacing.
