Heated wing mirror

Him my wing mirrors do not heat up when I switch on my heated rear screen. Checked the fuse box and the fuse for both of them seems to be ok. Any advice as to what could be the issue? Thanks

The wing mirrors do not heat at the same time as the rear screen. They turn on automatically from when you turn on the ignition for a preset time. This is only possible if you have the wing mirror adjustment knob in the middle.

Like so:

Heated mirrors are not connected to the rear demister they are operated on the electric adjust switch, you spin the switch to the heater icon.

And just to add if you do to have the heater icon on the switch you do not have heated wing mirrors fitted.

Bloom in' iPad autocorrect meant to say if it doesn't have the heated mirror symbol on the switch then heated mirrors aren't fitted as you can't put the switch in that position anyway.

mine does too, i cant see why seat would fit to some but not all cars....
