Hello guys,

Back from a 3 week break to California and one of the standard Bi-Xenon has now gone.

How much is it for a replacement, I assume it will be a Dealership job.

Would it be wise to just get both replaced at the same time?

And if anyone has any ideas of the price? before I go speak to the dealer that would be great

How old is it mate? I thought they were covered for replacement for ages, even life of the car

You can get the bi xenon bulb for about £90 off like euro car parts and hids direct. They are oem replacement. Fitting wise all you have to do is remove fuse before fitting the new one. Other than that it's like changing a normal headlight bulb.

Wasn't sure if it was a dealer only job as the units themselves look well sealed if I remember.

Happy to replace like for like, would these be the ones I am looking for -

They're dead easy to fit yourself - just 4 Torx screws to get the cover off, pull the connector off the bottom of the bulb and lift the latch and pull out.

What he said, dead easy. Although i would personally lift the latch before pulling the connector ;)

I need some help as well.

I'm off driving in France for a bit in July and they recommend a spare set of bulbs..

I don't know what to get to be honest. I don't know what bulbs are in my Leon. I had a Megs R26 and they were xenon but the leon is part white light and part normal bulbs (sides)

Any advice?

Just get a spare bulb kit without the xenon bulb they wont check what spare bulb kit you have in France. You can buy a spare bulb kit from Halfords don't use it and return it when you get back from France. I work at a Halfords people do it all the time.
