They usually ship quite quickly. Mine was built week20 and on the first ship to leave in week21.

Landed in Sheerness 28/5.

I haven't heard anything since though... Still no sign of it yet, but I'm quietly hoping I'll have it this week. It has been a very long wait.
 
Hey Yellowcone, you must have been same build week as me then. My car arrived in Sheerness on 28/5 and picking up from dealer on Friday 6th. See you had some problems with yours from the other thread. Hopefully, you will get it soon.

May well have done mate. Haven't heard from my dealer yet, I guess it depends on the transport company when I'll get it. Im trying not to get my hopes up! I ordered mine on Feb 8th... Its been so long I dare not believe it til I see it!

Have you called Seat CS as I think they arrange the transportation to the dealers once it arrives at port. Although my dealer has called me every step of the way to keep me informed, which judging by some other members comments is not always the case.
 
Nah, I got bored of chasing it to be fair. It'll get here when it gets here now. My dealer has treated me to complete silence the whole way through. The only titbits of info I do have are from calling Seat CS previously and tracking the shipping myself.

It'll come eventually I'm sure! :-/
 
Has anyone ordered a cupra at the end of April / early May and had a build week or estimated date ect?
I'm being told by the NHS lease company an estimated delivery date of the middle of august but this seems like a complete guess on their part. They won't give me the order number either to find out.
Anyone got any ideas?

I ordered early March, told build week of wk22 (last week) so should be sent out soon (how long does a Cupra take to build?) so 8 days approx on ship, then a few days to get to dealer, so mid to late June for me. Work yours out from that. PS remember SEAT close the factory in Aug I believe.:shrug:

I ordered 24th April and have been told build week 29 with delivery mid/late August so sounds about right.
 
My car was also week 22. One ship left the s.aturday after and another one is about to leave barcelona :D so should hope that if it missed the first one it will be on the second!

What the hell was your dealer playing at? I ordered ours on 17th March and have been enjoying it for 2 weeks now.
 
Spoke to my dealer this afternoon and he reckons my car is still sat in Sheerness waiting for transport, so I won't be getting it this week. So we're now looking closer to 18 weeks in total.

Somehow, I told you so doesn't quite cover it. So incredibly fed up now.
 
I ordered a white 3 door Cupra DSG on 19th April and have been informed by my dealer it's getting built this week for early July delivery. Happy with that.
