All gone quiet on this "voluntary recall".
Emailed Honest John and was quite alarmed by this:
Hi HJ,
>>
>> I have a 63 plate SEAT Leon with a 1.2 TSi Engine mated to the DSG

>> Could you ask VAG UK what is the latest on this voluntary recall?
The
problem is that they filled 7 speed dry clutch DSGs with synthetic oil in 2012 and 2013 and this has been crystallising in hot temperatures, causing the Mechatronics to fuse and the car to lose drive.

They won't spend the money replacing all that transmission fluid unless they have to.
Is there any other source of info out there?
