I like how this thread went from "oooohh I'm getting WMI" "I'm sooo getting WMI" "yup WMI for me!!" ......it's 700 quid fitted.... "No not for me" "nah Nevermind don't need it"
No matter how good your intercoolers I've yet to see any logs which show intake temps drop below ambient temp. WMI when set up correctly achieves sub ambient temps. Like BOOST on the 2.0T wmi follows the less is more rule.
Every bank holiday devils own has a sale and the boost activated kits are available less than £250.00. You can fit them yourself and utilise the screen wash bootle. A 20/80 meth water mix is fine for screen wash and wmi injection. Fitting will take a day and if the most competent forum member does it first and gives a heads up to the others it will be a job of leisure. I don't understand the throttle pipe issue, simply fit nozzle in pipework after intercooler.
should only cost £300 all in and you can sell the kit on after or fit it to your new car. its the best bargin mod you'll ever fit. When buying the kit you will have a choice of two nozzle sizes.... go for the do2 and do3 and start with the do2 first and try the do3. That's all you need.
banksy/ben is clued up on the make shift wmi kits if you wanna pm him all using aftermarket parts,im tempted to do this as ive found out paying a company to fit the kit all in was £750 and £1000 somewhere else
ill still do it sometime for the cleaning benefits
