Hi all,

Joined up to do some research and meet other Seat Cupra enthusiasts before I look to buy my first Cupra at the start of October.

Looking at getting a facelift MK1 Leon Cupra or possibly an Ibiza although I would prefer the space of the Leon but we shall see.

Anyways hopefully meet some of you all soon.

Cheers mate, which did you prefer out of the two? I do think the size of the Leon will sway my desicion.

The Leon, bigger boot, more kit, quicker but can still get decent mpg if you need (for work etc).

Well that settles that then, now time to do some research on mods. What's a reliable bhp/torque figure that the Cupra's can handle before needing new clutch, turbo, rods etc.

You've not got enough posts to receive PM yet I don't think bud, I've gotta clean it, Mechanically it's pretty sound bar a slight boost leak but no smoke or anything, Bodyworks a bit rough but only asking 600 quid for it,

Central locking doesn't work either but I think it's a new lock needed, 30 quid part

Mot'd last month went through no advisories
