Hi

After some opinions on what to do.

The windscreen seal has come away as seen below. It doesn't stay in the yellow holder anymore. I thought about applying some type of bonding agent, but what if the windscreen needs replacing in the future? Or can you replace these yellow clips?

Mine is the same.....i have tried pushing the metal ridge on the back of the seal strip into the yellow slotted holders with a fair bit of force but it just wont go in.

Unless you have to tap it in with a rubber mallet or something. Scared of breaking the screen though so i have only tried thumb pressure so far.

Wouldn't using a bonding agent be a bad idea in case you have to replace the window? Or does it not matter?

So is it the yellow clip that's damaged or the trim itself? You may have to give it a knock with your palm to pop it in.

Tried it, there's no grab there at all.

Not sure which bits faulty, more than likely the yellow clip is stretched. Thinking of gluing a piece of rubber on the seal, let it go off, then slotting it in. I'll see how it goes.
