Quick sport mode on Leon FR?

Just wondered if there was a quick way to engage the sport mode on the FR. I know you can press the mode button a few times, or on the touchscreen, but on a previous car I had, there was a one touch button, that would engage it instantly ... when you needed that power instantly

Is there anything on the FR that is similar to this, or is it a case of having to go through the menus?

In that case I don't think so I am afraid.....

On the auto you can click the gear selector down/back and that knocks the gearbox and engine into sport (If you are currently in Eco or normal) and then back again with another click. Doing this doesn't change the door lights, steering or climate settings though so you don't get the full sport setting 'feel'.

I've put my individual mode into ECO on all settings, except for steering in Sport, as I like the feel. Just wish there was a quick kick down into sport mode, with a touch of a single button ..... rather than 3 presses, for some overtaking moves

I did not yesterday (only had the car 2 days), that if you wedge your foot right down on the gas pedal, there does seem to be some sort of button or kick down ... but does not still give full juice

We've got a Manual FR 1.4 TSI, I find the kickdown makes a difference if your in ECO, making the engine behave more responsively, however is there a way to put it into sport by pressing just the mode button? A few of you hint at this, but if i press the mode button, it just puts you in/out of the mode selector screen, We have to press the mode button, then manually touch the screen to select the mode we want then either leave it to back out on its own or press that mode button again - which is horrid in my oppinion.

Is there a way of making our mode button switch between them with multiple presses? I try to avoid using the touchscreen where possible, as its not as responsive as a button, especially whilst driving.

That is indeed the kickdown point on the pedal.

For the auto guys that initiates a (often unnecessary, especially for the diesel's) gear drop (or two!) and the engine revs it's nuts off....

Although the general consensus seems to be for the manual guys that click is the point you get full throttle in eco mode.

There is a kick down, however, it still does not feel like full power is delivered. Still in Sport mode, it is quicker on acceleration and response

The best way for me, just keep it on sport mode all the time!!!!

sorry this is a bit of subject but i did not want to start a new thread

have you noticed when you leave your car in sport mode and turn the ignition off and then restart the car later that the car stops in sport mode but but the throttle reverts back to normal ? i have to select normal mode and then back into sport to get the sport throttle ? not sure if there is a software fix to update this
