So, I re-joined Seat ownership on New Years Day, after owning a Mark 1 LCR back in 2006, I was looking for something fun again after all those years in increasingly stupid and powerful cars, but none really ticking the boxes I was looking for.

Looking back, my first LCR really covered all bases, so started looking for Mk2 Cupra's, then this Cupra R turned up, so 24 hours later. I'd bought it.

So, that was it as bought 3 weeks ago (minus the LEON lettering on the bootlid).

Then last week I had the Eibachs fitted and a Triple R Front Splitter

Very nice mate.

They look so much better when lowered. Mine needs lowering desperately.

Do you have any more plans for it?

Cheers mate.

Car settled surprisingly quickly tbh, so is quite low, but swear by Eibachs. I think the ride is a lot more complient than standard, as the LCR is a really hard ride.

As for future plans, some wind deflectors on the way and some cheap little mods to the badges if I've got the patience.

Also looking at some new wheels as a possibility in the very near future, and Stage 1 remap.

Cool, are you going to stick with 19's? I'm going to go with H&R springs when I do mine, just as the drop is even front and back.

Anything to be done power wise?

Yes, gonna stick with 19's.

Ideally would've liked the updated versions of what I put on my Mk1 LCR which would be OZ Ultraleggera's, but I baulked at the price of them 9 years ago when they cost me about £1400 with tyres, but the Ultraleggera's now are about £1800 without tyres!

I did debate whether to go H+R or Eibach for that reason, but no one could say what the ride would be like on the H+R's, so went with the default choice, plus the Eibachs were in stock at Awesome and with me the next day.

When are you getting yours done?

Nice motor buddy, love the yellow. Photo bucket working for you now then:p

Yes Lee, figured it out with a bit of help (the aged)!

Thanks for the comments, always had a thing for a bright colour........think this is the 5th Yellow one, but if you've seen your thread and the pics I put up like you asked, you may have already figured that out?

I used to have Superleggera's on a lot of my previous cars as they are stunning wheels in my opinion. I know the price of the Ultralegs is shocking.

Should hopefully have it lowered in the coming months. Out of work at the moment so need to hold back on the spending haha

Unlucky mate.

Also thought that BBS were light(ish) wheels until I researched them a bit more. CK's are about 12kg in 19" and they're still circa 1k for a set and only available in a high power silver finish which is the main reason I was looking to change the current wheels.

Got my eye on a couple of options, just waiting a response from one supplier about weights.

Wow that is fast it's on my list of things to get done but it will be a stage 1 map before lowering.

Do you know which remap you're going with?

When I was on the way to look at mine I thought a remap was gonna be the first thing I done, especially as Revo had their sale on, but after driving it, I just decided to get everything else up to my standard first, do the smaller things and wait until spring before looking for more power, but it is on the cards!

On my previous one I'm sure it was a Custom Code remap, but cant remember now for sure (it was done by Badger 5) and that was impressive.

Mine took a week mate.

Have to say, very pleased with the difference it's made to the look of the car aswell. Not a lot of money for a big improvement.

 didn't notice that! Heard quite a lot about them, but too far from me I think.

Mine was due a service aswell when I bought it, so had that done while it was in for the springs etc.

Cam follower on the way from Dave @ Sere, so when it goes in for that, I'll also have the brake fluid done, then everything is up to date.

Has yours done many miles, because the plugs are due at 60k aren't they? Mines only done 24k, but intend having them changed before spring and the remap.

As I intend having the oil changed every 3 months, that will also tie in.
