Evening all, stumbled across this forum recently and thought I'd sign up and say hello.
Currently drive a 61 plate Exeo ST Sport Tech 141 in track grey, has a few factory extras fitted such as winter pack with heated seats, interior lighting pack with footwell lights, red LEDs in the map light, door handles, armrest etc, plus xenons and led rear lights.
Had mine a little while now and can't fault it, very smooth and refined, comfortable on a long run and (touch wood!) no reliability issues so far.
Have added a few bits and pieces myself, from browsing the forum it seems many others have done the same. Some of the bits I've done;
RS4 pedals (pricey but do look good, footrest cover, clutch and brake fitted in 15 mins, accelerator took heating, lubricating, forcing and finally lots of swearing before going on!)
Chrome exhaust trim (Skoda Octavia part).
Fan jet washers (heated on mine so a bit pricey at £40 the pair but well worth it)
Chrome mirror covers (I know these aren't everyone's cuppa but quite like them on the track grey alongside the chrome window trim and roof rails)
All interior lights changed to LED bulbs.
Changed orange front indicator bulbs for Osram Diadem chrome (I have fingers like Walls sausages so they looked like they'd been through a paper shredder when I'd finished!)
Smoked side repeaters to replace the original chrome/orange.
Engine bay scuttle/battery cover, rubber gasket, bottle cover, black screenwash cap and Porsche coolant cap (last two serve no purpose just look better than the blue plastic originals
)
VW LED torch to replace the cigarette lighter.
Boot liner and cargo net.
Fire extinguisher and first aid kit in the boot cubby hole.
Still a few other things I'd like to do/add when time, finances and motivation permit.
Looks to be a good forum, was quite surprised there was so many posts in the Exeo section as there seems to be so few on UK roads.
Look forward to joining in the chat and maybe even passing on some of my very limited knowledge!
Tried to put a couple of pics of the old bus up but need 15 posts, so will stick some up at a later date (if anyone wants to see them that is!)
Cheers all,
Aidan.
