Seat Assistance

Hi, I'm just waiting to collect my new Leon FR later this week. It's not brand new but only 10 months old and I'm wondering how long you're covered by Seat Roadside Assistance for, is it 12 months from new?

The only reason i'm asking is i'll need to amend my existing breakdown cover but as the dealer is putting my private reg on retention I don't want to have to change my other cover unnecessarily if i'm covered with SEAT as I'll change it over when my private reg goes back on.

Hi mate it continues indefinitely as long as you get it serviced at SEAT. Mine is over 7 years old and have had continuously since New. They send you an email and letter to confirm after each service.

had the same cover through Mercedes - and bloody good they were too!
Didn't realise this was lifetime subject to servicing, thought it was while in warranty.
worthwhile maybe...

It covers you for the first two years anyhow

then as others have said - the next year comes with the service ( providing you book it online )

It is nice that this can go on indefinitely.

That's good to know - would rather book direct with dealer to be sure of times to suit me.

Warranty is 3y and AA cover is 2.

I agree with Rob66's interpretation, providing you get it serviced at an approved Seat dealer, your Seat Roadside Assistance continues for a further year.

I would well imagine that's one reason why the service cost is so high !

That sounds good, Another one I have just found out about from a colleague is 0800 Wizard This is for Android phones unsure if there is one for Apple
