Now I know what I'm looking for... I can see loads of RNS315 SD cards for sale on ebay... I assume from the price they are legitimate:
£150 for V7
£70 for V6
I assume mine must be V4 or lower currently. Not sure whether to bite it and pay the £150.

I've considering a V6 card most seem to be from German Sites and seem legitimate.
I believe i'm on either V2 or V3 depending on release dates thus not bothered about get a one year old release if it saves me a wad of cash.
I've got to replace the EGR cooler and that's a £800 repair.

Yeah, thats my thinking... it does say 2014/2015 for the V6 maps. I've noticed roads that changed in 2011/2012 are out of date on my sat nav.
Ok, I went for it. I don't like not having the latest but I figure 3-4 years of map updates has got to be worth it.
Bought v6. I'll give it a couple of years then update again for another £70.

Let us know how u get on, can u use the sd card more than once, if u can let me know and I would buy it of u, if not I will by from the same seller as u, hope It goes ok
From what I've read, the SD cards can only be used once. But I'll post back once it arrives (from Germany).
Im also interested to see how you get on with this as im considering one of these cards. Keep us posted.
Only problem I had is, when I try to select a destination from memory I get an error:
BUT... you can delete the entry and re-add it and all is fine. Not sure why!?
Already tried it on a road that wasn't on the previous maps and a road where the satnav gave me the wrong speed limit and both are correct after the update.

Good to see it worked mate, does that mean u can use it for another 315 nav or is it only use once
It wasn't joking about the 2 hour installation!!! But you can turn it all off and it resumes where it left off (thankfully).
Hi in your pictures you have 0038 Western Europe. Is this the same for all versions of updates my 2011 says 0038 on it can't see what version mine is don't want to order then it's the same as I have.
