Basically I've always wanted a remap on my cars but never had a car that was either worth doing it on or in a good enough mechanical condition to take a remap. Now ive got my 3yr old 33,000 mile exeo diesel 143ps and am seriously considering it. I've had the car 6 months and had no issues with it but am still a bit unsure on if it's a good idea or not? Just need a final push off the cliff with this decision lol
I live in North Wales and do 15k a year just to and from work mainly dual carriage and B road always getting stuck being a tractor, caravan or horse box so the extra ompth for over takes would be nice other than that I'm not gonna be killing the engine round a track etc
For the guys that have had remaps on their exeos did any of you encounter any problems down the road which could have been agrivated by a remap?
And obvisiouly I may want to upgrade the breaks if I get it done. Don't wanna have to go replacing the calipers as I wanna upgrade to a Cupar 280 St in a couple of years so don't wanna spend silly money. So what can I do to increase stopping power? Am I only left with ebc or similar pads or can I upgrade the discs aswell?
Thanks in advance guys
