HI Guys,

Just joined literally few mins ago.

Bought a Leon TFSI on 2006 and it has the G201 ABS Pump Fault.

Do Seat still repair these FREE OF CHARGE?

I've sent an email to Seat UK. as I rang the local SEAT dealer and they said there's not a recall for this fault on their system?

Im from west yorkshire. Anyone know of a local dealer who would repair this FOC rather than deny the fault or recall altogether?

Thanks Guys

Hi and welcome. Dealers will deny this and it has to go through SEAT UK, who end up footing the bill. They will ask the dealer to diagnose this and then once confirmed they authorise the work.

Hope it helps, let us know how you get on with SEAT UK.

You may have to pay an initial diagnostic fee which is usually refunded once the repair has taken place.

there's no recall but there should be a service campaign available.

Thanks for the replies. I've received the below email from Seat UK

"Thank you for your recent contact with SEAT Customer Services.

I have forwarded your details to one of our Customer Relations Managers who will be in direct contact with you shortly."

So Fingers Crossed.

Had the ABS pump on my 2007 CUPRA go and it was done under warranty. They simply have a kit that they use to repair it now.

Got a call from Seat UK and have agreed to repair under goodwill as long as it brings up the code G201.

Booking it Into the local Seat Dealers so looks good so far.
